HexaBee is a Chrome extension that helps users process and pay invoices directly from Gmail™.

This Privacy Policy explains how HexaBee accesses, uses, and protects user data.

User Action Requirement

HexaBee only accesses Gmail™ data after you take an explicit action, such as opening an email and choosing to process invoice information.

HexaBee does not access Gmail™ data in the background and does not read unrelated emails.

HexaBee does not access Gmail™ data when the extension is inactive.

Data We Access

When you use HexaBee, we may access:

• The currently opened Gmail™ message content
• Email subject and visible content
• PDF attachments within the opened email
• Extracted invoice data (amount, IBAN, reference)

How We Use Data

HexaBee uses this data only to:

• Detect invoice information
• Display payment details
• Initiate payments at your request

We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

No Human Access

HexaBee does not allow humans to read Gmail™ data. All processing is automated.

No Permanent Storage

HexaBee does not permanently store Gmail™ content or attachments by default. Data is processed transiently.

Third-Party Services

When you initiate a payment, data may be shared with:

• Stripe (card payments)
• Yapily (bank payments)

These providers process data under their own policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share user data except:

• to complete payments
• to comply with legal obligations

Security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption and secure infrastructure.

User Rights

You can:

• stop using HexaBee at any time
• request data deletion via hive@hexabee.buzz
